We are firm believers that an important part of your luxury experience with Tawan Cruises includes indulging in fine cuisine. In partnership with one of Phuket's leading catering and events companies, we provide a range of different menus that encompass exotic local Thai delights to gourmet sandwiches served with crispy salads or a beach BBQ using the freshest seafood accompanied with our fine chilled white and light red wines.

A sample of some of our lunch menus are listed below; however, if you have a favourite dish or special request that isn't on our catering list, please let our sales staff know at the time of booking and we will arrange this for you (a surcharge may apply).

MENU 1 : Thai Fusion

Breakfast

Freshly baked croissants and whole meal bread served with salted butter and homemade preserves, together with freshly ground coffee or Yorkshire tea.

Snacks

Laab Kai
This traditional Thai starter comprises, minced chicken with fresh mint shallots, coriander and dried chili, served cold in green cabbage leaves.

Prawn Cakes
Andaman prawn cakes, in a crispy fried breaded coating, served with a sweet chilli dip.

Lunch

Tom Yum Goong
A spicy / sour prawn soup with fresh lemongrass, ginger and galangal.

Beef in Oyster Sauce
Succulent strips of fillet in a mushroom oyster sauce.

Yam Talay Seafood Salad
Mixed sautéed fresh seafood served on a bed of glass noodles and spring onions, and fresh chilli.

Khao Phad Phuket
Curried fried rice with chicken and vegetables, served in a pineapple boat.

A selection of mixed green leaves tossed in a lemon, olive oil and balsamic dressing.

MENU 2 : Seafood Symphony (Surcharge 900 THB per person)

Piri Piri Prawns on Lemongrass Skewers
Andaman prawns, marinated in an olive oil and Thai chilli sauce, accompanied by a sweet cucumber & honey dip.

Carpaccio of Tuna
Raw tuna marinated in fresh lemon juice , pressed virgin olive oil and ground black pepper.

Lunch

King Scallops
Served hot, in a butter, garlic and chilli sauce with crispy French bread.

Giant Andaman Prawn Thermidor
Served in a champagne, fish stock & cream sauce, topped with parmesan cheese and served in the shell. (exchange for 400g lobster surcharge 500b pp)

Pan Fried Sea Bass
Fillet of sea bass, pan fried in white wine, lemon and cracked black pepper corns.

Mixed Vegetables
Sauteed in oyster sauce.

Caesar Salad
Crispy fresh Romaine salad, herb croutons, cured bacon and a classic Caesar dressing with anchovies.

Pan Fried Fillets of Andaman Sea Bass
Served in a white wine and lemon sauce with buttered asparagus.

with buffalo mozzarella, ripe tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.

Half a succulent baby honeydew melon, drizzled with a Midori melon liquor and draped with Finely sliced Palma ham.

Assorted Italian Olives
Served with sun dried tomatoes in virgin pressed olive oil, accompanied by fresh crisp bread and balsamic vinegar.

Lunch

Surf and Turf Skewers
A mixture of organic wild and jasmine rice with various vegetables and fruits scented with curry spices.

Homemade Lamb Burgers
Choice minced lamb with onion, mint and mixed herbs, Barbecued to your liking and served in a sesame coated bun, with sliced tomato, onion and a Greek yoghurt mayonnaise.

Barbequed Andaman Sole
Barbecued with garlic butter and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
